Jackie Donnelly and Mackenzie McColl made quite an impression on Mrs. Sharer.

Students in Dental Health Technology recently started learning how to make study models of a patient’s teeth.  Mrs. Sharer was kind enough to lend hers to the cause and allowed students to take dental impressions of her pearly whites.

Pictured here are  2012-2013 Dental Health Technology students Jackie Donnelly and Macenzie McColl with our Assistant Director Mrs. Sharer.

Students Participate in Representative Culver’s Senior Expo

SUN Area Technical Institute’s Co-op Coordinator Joe Weisser and several SUN Tech students attended Representative Lynda Schlegal Culver‘s 2nd annual Senior Expo at Shikellamy High School.  Cody Weaver, an student in the HVAC class of 2013, made a project in the image shown here for Mr. Weisser to take to the Expo.  Health Professions students were available to take visitor’s blood pressure, and Food Service students served  meatballs and cookies.

According to Mr. Weisser, “this Senior Expo was a tremendous success for our very active senior members of our community and their string turnout is evidence of their strong commitment to our Valley’s many resources.”
