National & State Certifications
Graduates of Advertising Art & Design may earn the following certifications:
All graduates of the Advertising Art & Design program receive a certificate indicating that they have successfully completed the full year training program.
PA Skills Certificate
Students are required to take the NOCTI, a comprehensive written and performance test. Upon advanced placement on the NOCTI, the student is issued a Pennsylvania Skills Certificate by the State of Pennsylvania. This certificate is recognized by employers as proof that the student has demonstrated competency in both the knowledge and skills necessary for successful entry into their chosen career area.
Advanced Placement Opportunities
Some colleges and career schools offer SUN graduates advanced standing, thus reducing the amount of credits necessary for graduation and saving tuition costs. For more information please see the Higher Education Opportunities page.
