The Carpentry program prepares students to
continue their technical education at a variety of two-year, four-year,
and technical schools. Several post-secondary schools offer qualified
SUN TECH graduates advanced placement. This can save them as much as
$1200 on tuition expenses.
There are also advanced training
opportunities offered through apprentice programs in the construction
field. These are offered through local building trade unions and
contractors.
