The
Carpentry program has four levels of career options that students may
select. The four levels are as follows, from lowest to highest level:
Students will
also be tested on their overall carpentry knowledge and skills using the
NOCTI national exam. Students who successfully pass this test will
receive a nationally recognized certificate from NOCTI. Some
builders and contractors also offer training programs that lead to
various certifications. Two examples are the Associated Builders and
Contractors Apprenticeship Program and the Certainteed Master Shingler.
