National / State Certification
 The Sun Area Career &
Technology Center was the first to become NATEF certified in the state of
Pennsylvania. Sun-Tech is also leading the way by becoming a member I-CAR
the Inner Industry on Collision repair. I-CAR offers training &
certification for professional level technicians. I-CAR has recently
created a Training Alliance, which brings together traditional training
providers, and vocational technical schools to optimize industry-training
efforts, increase the availability and quality of training. This allows
students to be eligible for I-CAR Gold Class points for their training at
Sun Tech. Gold Class certification is now an industry benchmark for
businesses and training providers.
