To prepare for the Diesel and Truck Technology program, students should try to take courses in the following:
Basic knowledge of computers and electronics is also helpful. Common traits of successful students in the Diesel and Truck Technology Program are: self-motivation, a strong desire to learn and good work ethics.
The SUN Area Technical Institute offers career and technical programs in health, trade and industrial occupations. Admission to these programs is based on completion of ninth grade or GED.
