The Electrical Systems Technology program prepares students for entry into the workforce as Electrical Technicians or for entry into higher education after graduation. The core curriculum consists of electrical safety, use and care of tools and instruments, electrical theory, the National Electrical Code, design and installation methods relating to residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems.
In addition to the core curriculum, students can select from three career options:
Hands-on learning is stressed in a safe, modern learning environment.
Projects both inside and outside of the laboratory are used to reinforce lessons taught in the classroom. The course content is selected with the advice and consent of a local Industry Advisory Committee.
