 All
graduates of the Electrical Systems Technology program receive a
SUN Tech Certificate indicating that they have successfully
completed the full year training program.
Students who successfully complete a comprehensive written and
performance test at the end of the program are issued a Pennsylvania
Skills Certificate by the State of Pennsylvania. This certificate is
recognized by employers as proof that the student has demonstrated
competency in both the knowledge and skills necessary for successful
entry into their chosen career field.
Students who select and successfully complete the Telecommunications
Cabling Option in the program will be issued a Certified Network
Cabling Technician Certificate. This certificate issued by SUN Tech
and C-Tech Corporation, a nationally recognized leader in
telecommunications training, is recognized nationally by employers.
Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program, after graduation
from SUN, leads to certification as a Journeyman Electrician. A
Journeyman certification is recognized worldwide and is considered
essential to entry into the best workplaces.
