National & State Certifications

National/State Certification

All graduates of the Food Service Program at SUN Area Career and Technology Center receive a certificate indicating the successful completion of the full year program. Along with an evaluation of the many tasks the student has accomplished.

Students are also required to take a comprehensive written and performance NOCTI test at the completion of the year program. This test ranks the students achievements with others nationwide.

The SUN Area Technical Institute offers career and technical programs in health, trade and industrial occupations. Admission to these programs is based on completion of ninth grade or GED.
