All graduates of the Police, Corrections & Security Systems
program receive a Certificate indicating that they have successfully
completed the full year training program.

Students also are required to take a comprehensive written and
performance test which upon successful completion leads to the issuance
of a Pennsylvania Skills Certificate by the State of Pennsylvania. This
certificate is recognized by employers as proof that the student has
demonstrated competency in both the knowledge and skills necessary for
successful entry into their chosen career area.
Most students, upon graduation, opt to continue their education at a
2 or 4 year college, or enter the military. While security work does
not, at this time, require college at the entry level, most law
enforcement and corrections have some requirements, and military
experience is encouraged. Currently there are successful graduates
enrolled in Mansfield, Penn State, I.U.P., HACC, Lycoming, and
Bloomsburg Universities. Advanced placement is offered at some colleges,
if the student maintained a "B" or better average while
enrolled in the Police, Corrections, & Security Sciences program.
Every branch of the service is represented by an alumni.
