Precision Machining program at SUN Tech is an official testing site for
NIMS Level 1 (National Institute of Metalworking Skills). Students
earn credentials to showcase their skills in metalworking. These
credentials are used for employment and advanced placement in colleges
and apprenticeships. This certification program is the first and only
nationally recognized program in precision machining. With NIMS you get:
National recognition of your skills: Industry certificate documenting
that your skills meet industry performance standards.
An edge in interviews: A NIMS portfolio that you can present to your
current or future employer.
