Ad Art Class of 2014 Presents Check to the YMCA Arts Center

Students in the Advertising Art & Design program at SUN Area Technical Institute donated $152.25 to the Sunbury YMCA Arts Center as a result of money collected through Dress Down Days. Every first and third Friday, students paid $2 and were permitted to wear the dress down day t-shirt with jeans instead of their typical uniform. The dress down day t-shirt design was an in-class competition created in Adobe Illustrator and won by student Jacob Schell (Midd-West School District). Jacob screen printed the four color t-shirt design with the help of other art students. Torrey Smith (far left), 2008 graduate of the SUN Tech Art program, and Mary Jo Tavares, director of the Arts Center, visited the school to accept the donation.
