Day-Time Adult Education
SUN Area Technical Institute
has opened training opportunities in various areas of
vocational-technical education to area adults. These areas of
instruction will be open to adults during the regular daytime hours.
Residents of the sponsoring school districts will be given first
priority on the available openings in the PrimeTime Adult Program
(PTA). Sponsoring school districts include: Lewisburg, Midd-West,
Mifflinburg, Selinsgrove, and Shikellamy.
A student enrolled as a full-time student will be guaranteed a complete
program of studies when starting at the beginning of the school
year (August) and attending through the end of the school year
(June). A full-time student will attend five days per week, 5.5
hours each day per the approved school calendar. Students not
enrolled as a full-time student are considered customized
training students. Customized training students are not
guaranteed enrollment beyond their current contract term. All
daytime adults must have a high school diploma or have
successfully completed a GED program.
