SkillsUSA VICA

Skills USA VICA is a national organization that serves high school and college students and professional members who are enrolled in training programs in technical, skilled, and service occupations, including health occupations.  SkillsUSA VICA prepares America's high performance workers.  It provides quality education experiences for students in leadership, teamwork, citizenship, and character development.  It builds and reinforces self-confidence, work attitudes, and communications skills.  It emphasizes total quality, high ethical standards, superior work skills, life-long education and pride in the dignity of work. 

SkillsUSA VICA also promotes understanding of the free enterprise system and involvement in community service activities.  SkillsUSA VICA programs include local, state and national competitions in which students demonstrate occupational and leadership skills.
 

SkillsUSA VICA Activities

The strategic plan of the SUN Area Career and Technology Center is a results-oriented document and provides a structure for public accountability. Many individuals will be asked to contribute to the work set forth in this plan in order to actualize the school's vision and mission. By working in collaboration, the SUN Area Career and Technology Center will be better prepared to provide its students with the educational opportunities needed to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
