On Friday, August 7, 2015 SUN Tech’s Cosmetology Class visited La Esperanza Day Spa in Mifflinburg and got to explore that there is more to Cosmetology than just hair, there is a great big world out there to explore that includes, pedicures, massage, tanning, etc. From there they got to visit Elite Electrology in Lewisburg, where they learned about Esthetics and Eyebrow shaping/extensions and got to see some eyelashes extensions applied and what is involved in getting the proper training and technique to do them properly. The students got to check out Ulta a make-up and skin care/hair care store in Shamokin Dam and got to see some make-up artists in action and providing consultations for customers while we were there. These students have worked hard over the past few months to get their 300 hours in and will be completing their training in the Spring of 2016. Come see them on their clinic days here at SUN Tech for your haircuts, perms, waxing, pedicures, nail care, etc. The salon can be reached at 570-966-2111 if you wish to make an appointment. Congratulations on completing your summer program girls!
Don’t forget to watch the LIVE awards ceremony tonight at 5:00 P.M. We wish all of our competitors the best of luck. GO TEAM SUN!!!!
