Sean Wagner, SUN Area Technical Institute Advanced Wood Products Manufacturing student and Mifflinburg Area High School Senior, completed his Eagle Scout project which earned him his Eagle Scout Rank within the Boy Scouts. This is a huge achievement for Sean as he has been working towards this rank since he was 14. Wagner states “I wanted to join the Boy Scouts because it teaches leadership and teamwork.” Wagner’s Eagle Scout project can be viewed outside of the Mifflinburg Buggy Museum located in Mifflinburg, PA. His project re-routed the water drainage system which will assist in the preservation of the Buggy Museum. Mr. Bryan Seward, Advanced Wood Products Manufacturing Instructor at SUN Tech, said ” Sean is an outstanding student, always willing to take on new challenges and learn new processes. He is at the top of his class, and he is a pleasure to have as a student.” Sean is working on a flag project in his program at SUN Tech that will be displayed on the wall in the shop. Way to go Sean, we are proud of you!
