This page provides information on the SUN Tech school board, called the Joint Operating Committee. It provides details minutes from their meetings, school policies and educational philosophies, and more.
The Joint Operating Committee meets the third Thursday of each month, except for January, July, September and November. The public is welcome to attend these meetings, typically held in the Conference Room of the school, occasionally held virtually due to COVID-19 concerns. Public comment must be registered by 5 p.m. the day of the meeting by completing the Request for Comment Form.
Meetings that are held virtually will have the zoom link posted on the school Facebook page, and on the website news blog by 5 p.m. the day of the meeting.
Effective October 15, 2020, meetings will once again be held in person at SUN Area Technical Institute. Should meetings require change to a virtual format due to emergency, notification will be made. Public comments should still be registered via the above link to the Request for Comment Form by 5 p.m. the day of the meeting.
